[..YouTube..] If there is old roads, houses and footpaths on or near the site it may be good. The coin shooting field I found has footpaths, a river crossing and a drovers road very near by so I kind of hoped it would produce some really old hammered coins but didn’t expect to fiind all the predecimal silver – still no hammered though…..

[..YouTube..] Wow! nice hunt.. sub’d your channel.. can’t beat the E-Trac!
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Thanks, man. The etrac really was a steep learning curve for me but I didn’t give up like some people seem to do. It really paid off as I am pulling all sorts up from sites that people have ignored for years as they are ‘worked out’.
Problem with being in England is the amount of trash history in the ground but the etrac can still find good stuff amongst old nails and other muck.
Best of luck with your hunts – subbed you too.

[..YouTube..] @pondguru thanks for the sub… yeah my wife so wants me to go to England to see what I can pull out of the ground! Maybe one of these days we can… good luck, I will watching your vids… thanks..
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] yeah i hope 2012 brings you a hammered coin.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] That coin at 7:20 is swedish.

[..YouTube..] a cracking day out mate nice one !!!!

[..YouTube..] a cracking day out mate nice one !!!!
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] I hope to get back there very soon as there will be hundreds more finds in that field just waiting to be discovered.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] how do you clean your silver coins
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Generally with soapy water and a toothbrush, then polish them with ‘silvo’ and a duster.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] smashing video but what is the history of the field seemed to be a hell of a lot of victorian stuff but bthe location seemed pretty out of the way is it an old mill site or somthing keep up the good work …..mazz (grimsby)
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] The majority of the coins were Geroge V and VI with a few Edwards and Victoria in there too.
It used to be used by the army, scouts, boys brigade etc from after WWI to the 50′s / 60′s as a campsite. It is miles away from any sort of population so it was a real suprise when I started detecting since I didn’t know it had any history at all.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] @pondguru do you keep your coins or sell them on ?
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] @pondguru do you keep your coins or sell them on ?

[..YouTube..] The copper oneie in a big heap at home – no value. Silver I keep in a collection. Haven’t ever sold any.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Sounds like a great site. I’ll be gutted when I clean this one out.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Hello Mate. Great video and great finds!
Im from Norway, and i know that the coin from 1737 is actually “1 öre sm Stockholm, 1737″ from Sweden. (Just google it and click on the pictures:)
See you around

[Translate]
[..YouTube..] No worries, thanks for watching.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] I have updated the description with that – I should have done it sooner as there was a couple of my scandinavian viewers identified that one.
Thanks for watching..
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Very nice finds indeed! And i love the Swedish coin that you did finf!
Many good finds, allot of coins, was it an park or an old field the site?
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] It was used by the army and scout groups for camping in the first half of the 1900′s.
Thanks for watching.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] you must have been extremely excited throughout this whole hunt WOW “the best take i have seen in a loooooong time , great job , could you do me a favor and do a quick closeup macro video of the silvers including the half too if you get the time ,it would be much appreciated, awesome hunt, great viewing, keep em coming! ,good luck and i hope you have many more hunts like this one!
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Man I wish I had your luck!
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] I’m still intending to do a year end summary of finds and there will be close-ups there.
Thanks for watching.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] dude you shoulda cleaned them up first ;\
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] No way I’m cleaning up the worthless coppers, man. I always clean up the silvers for the summary at the end of the detecting videos but not the nation of coppers as I just haven’t got the time.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] @pondguru ya i hear you , i was out for an 2 hour yesterday breaking through 3″ ice
and dug 17 pennies to get 1 clad dime , good luck hunting
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] Dirt fishing through permafrost is a one way ticket to a broken spade. That reminds me I must order a new one before my badly damaged one finally gives out – lol
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] you have no consideration for worms
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] you have no consideration for worms
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] im from America but i must say those English coins are beautiful..love the design with lion and crown..love watching your video’s
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] They are certainly very intricate in their design. I like the look of the US coins but I suppose we always want what we haven’t got – lol
Thanks for watching.
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] That 1737 coin could have arrows on it instead of two spade’s, or two ore’s. Just a rational thought I’d put out there. Great find!
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] @pondguru That’s very interesting what’s that area and you find so meany coins I’m impressed
[Translate]
[..YouTube..] It had been used by scouts and the army between the world wars for camping so there was plenty dropped from many camps.
